In all honesty does anyone think he deserved to be subbed yesterday? And i’m beginning to think that teams have sussed Charlie out because he’s become very predictable.
In all honesty I was gobsmacked when Stam & Thomas were subbed. They were arguably our best 2 players on the field.

I thought he was close to the best player on the park and was certainly the pick of our 3 centre midfielders.

Don’t think I agree with this
To be fair, I think the middle 3 were lacking fitness for the whole 90 minutes, Thomas seems to start games bright these days but drifts out of it.

Thomas was doing ok but as soon as Clattermole was sent off he should have been subbed immediately. Theres no need for a defensive midfielder when your playing against 10 men.

The sooner you put them under pressure the better. As soon as Di santo came on for Thomas the tempo lifted. If he had come on straight after the sending off you would have had over an hour to win the game instead of the 25 mins he got. Another tactical mystery from the spanish one,

Thing is chaps, if we’d o taken our chances, nobody would give two shakes if we’d played 4-4-2, 4-3-3 or even 1-3-2-3-1. Should’ve been out of sight after an hour.
Credit to Sunderland, they tucked away their only proper chance. We just need to find our shooting boots and we’ll be reet.
