Maybe, but I would o fancied putting that chance away that Boselli missed.

Anyway, the main point was that for £13m, you get a better striker.

When I saw N’Zogbia and Di Santo were coming on, I thought it was going to be for Boselli and either Diame or Thomas. Presumed we were going to play Hugo and Franco up front, leave Stam where he was and put N’Zogbia on the left…that would have meant we still had the option of using Cleverley in whatever midfield role Martinez felt he might need to change.
