Always baffles me how folk can base their entire knowledge and views of a club on the views of 4 to 5 keyboard warriors on a fansite!
I was talking about the fans at their games[/quote]
The Web comments were being made even when we weren’t directly involved. When we slipped to third because of less games played, they got really cocky. The thing is, even when we lost a game last season, which was rare, or slipped up and only drew a game we would’ve expected to win, we quickly bounced back. It was a good sign a few games later when Shrewsbury fans were then changing to “if they drop points here..” and working out possible permutations… When you are more concerned with your opponents, it shows your own teams limitations.
I don’t hate Shrewsbury, but a few of their supporters could do well with realising that before this last season, they were perennial League One strugglers. Their manager has gone today, and no doubt a few players will leave. They’re starting again now.
