Who is going to sack him, the invisible board. We are in the shite big time both on and off the field. It seems as though nobody but us fans actually give a toss. FFS Royle say summat.
Yeah, we’re shite. He needs sacking after today and it needs some bold leadership from the Chairman and board. Not silence.
I’m swerving the Bolton game. Seeing them come and beat us with determined desire and fight, itll be far too much. I can’t stomach the thought of witnessing that. No thanks.
FFS vat! Today was an absolute kick in the b0110cks I admit. But get behind your team at all times – through THICK & THIN!
No thanks. I dont want to see Bolton do us on our own patch. Ive another reason for not being there anyway, in all honesty. And its more important than watching that game. Family reasons.

Family reasons are fair enough vat & I sincerely hope your family will be experiencing a happy occasion.
However, I do stand by what I said in my previous post. Get behind your team at ALL times during the good, the bad & the ugly. A football team is for life, not just for promotions & cup wins!!!!
10 March 2019 at 12:50 pm #177026A bloody big girls blouse thee Dave. That’s it I’m not going against Bolton!
10 March 2019 at 2:44 pm #177030A bloody big girls blouse thee Dave. That’s it I’m not going against Bolton! As Ive said, Ive other reasons for missing the game. Not just through choice.
The fact is I realise theres more to life than wasting another Saturday afternoon watching that dour sideways and backwards passing, with Jamie Jones timewasting, as we play for a point. At home. Against a piss poor side, but one who have fight and passion.
If our plans change, I will go..but I hope they don’t, as I prefer the alternative.10 March 2019 at 3:32 pm #177033Sounds like we had a go yesterday but poor finishing, slack defending, ridiculous substitutions and the ref let us down.

10 March 2019 at 3:56 pm #177035Slightly off topic but,
is MacManaman injured ?. The reason I ask is, he recently said in an interview that the team spirit at the club was one of the best he’s ever experienced at any club he’s been at.
Since he made that comment he’s never made the bench so I’m wondering whether it was said tongue in cheek and Cooks took offense,
Just a thought because I haven’t heard any other player say it10 March 2019 at 4:01 pm #177036His fitness has always been a concern for me. Rarely capable of doing 90 minutes because he plays at 110mph which is sometimes positive but can also be negative in terms of the stupid challenges he puts in.
The way we setup yesterday I expected him to be on the bench and he is probably the best replacement we have for Massey or Jacobs with 20 to go.
I doubt he is injured as he played for the reserves midweek so maybe something has happened, but Cook did say at the fans forum that he is probably the one player he hasn’t given a chance too but that is based on formations. Maybe Callum has said something about it finally.

Was wondering how long it would be before you spat your dummy out and threatened not to go. The family commitment you refer to in a later post is bollux, otherwise you would have mentioned it in the above post.
FFS pull yourself together, its bad times like this that make the good times even better. Do what a proper fan should do, have a moan if you want but get behind YOUR team. From Matlock to ManU

10 March 2019 at 6:35 pm #177043The substitutions by Cook have been a source of amusement, at first, but over the past weeks a far more serious situation. He just has no idea. I believe he is
Seriously out of his depth.
When I read his interview yesterday on taking Powell and Jacobs off because of fatigue. But with all the injuries, are they over trained? At both Ipswich and Derby
we sat down just after 2pm and they were all running etc. That went on until 2.45. Both Ipswich and Derby did half that, Derby did 15 mins. Players do not have
Boundless energy. I believe that length of warming up is ridiculous.
As for replacements. Peter Reid works with the club but I note that the disgraceful sacking of Darren Moore he is available as is Graeme Jones!I do agree with an earlier comment COOK looks totally shattered. Give him gardening leave and let Joe take over till he is fit again.
10 March 2019 at 7:36 pm #177046Pressure is part and parcel of a managers working day no matter who you manage, ask an ami manager he’ll tell you the same.
Powell by all accounts asked to be subbed. If that’s the case and if it was true simply because he was tired then bringing him off just showed everyone a weakness in Cook as a manager.Cook goes out his way for Powell and as soon as he gets so much as a snotty nose then he’s off for a tissue.
This is were players need to work thier fookin nuts off for the full 90+ minutes not “Come off lad you’ve done enough, go get a bovril”10 March 2019 at 8:03 pm #177048Draw at Blackburn, win against Bolton then any win from remaining games means Rotherham need minimum 10 points.
Were certainly doing this the hard way but need keep cool and don’t panic.10 March 2019 at 8:08 pm #177049Can’t see beyond a comfortable Rovers win….possibly beat Bolton and I mean possibly. I still believe a creative player like Macmanaman can still play an important role yet but as long as Cooks in charge he’ll be overlooked.
