would prefer the south to be the main stand again anyway.
Family stand in part of the west, keep the north for away fans6 September 2010 at 6:06 pm #45558They just shouldn’t do it. Pointless.

6 September 2010 at 6:38 pm #45561South Stand for the win !
I think you’d still get people in ES2 & ES3 standing because it’s near the away fans and it’s good for banter.
Most clubs have there standing areas behind the goals, even Brentford :?
6 September 2010 at 10:59 pm #45586es2 defo for the banter, wouldnt like 2 be bak in south.to far away from the away fans
7 September 2010 at 12:20 am #45595yeah i know where your coming from with that mate but iv always liked the idea of a kop
7 September 2010 at 2:54 am #45606I Can’t see it ever happening, but I would vote in favour of it if given the chance.
Botton half or the whole of the South Stand would be best.
7 September 2010 at 3:06 am #45610i agree with the south stand bit but you cant really have the bottom half standing cos then everyone would have to…unless you closed the top half :P
7 September 2010 at 3:19 am #45611i agree with the south stand bit but you cant really have the bottom half standing cos then everyone would have to…unless you closed the top half :PAlways used to be like that in most grounds.
There would have to be a void area between the top and bottom so people standing wouldn’t block the view of those sitting.i don’t really know why I am trying to explain this as it will never happen.
7 September 2010 at 3:23 am #45612I hope it doesn’t Horc.
7 September 2010 at 3:47 am #45613I hope it doesn’t Horc.I don’t think it will happen, but even at my ripe old age I would still prefer to stand.
I would still like to be able to have a smoke whilst watching, and be able to have a good rant without the plod or stewards threatening to chuck me out and ban me.Football has gone right up its own arrrs these days, bring back the good old days.
