Looks like a stock pile of pies from local pie shops is needed with the prices at Wembley
Whereas most concourses in new stadiums so far built in this country are normally rather drab affairs, with a combination of breeze blocks and cladded piping, being predominantly on view, at Wembley it is different. For once someone has had the vision to hide these ugly features, with timber rafting and well positioned lighting, giving a modern stylish look. Apparently there is one refreshment till per 100 spectators in the stadium. Whether that is a good or bad ratio, in terms of queuing times, remains to be seen. The catering is provided by the same American company who also supply and run the catering at Arsenal. Prices have always been historically expensive at Wembley and the new stadium certainly follows in the tradition here; Various pies £4.50 (which although expensive are excellent), Stonebaked Pizza (£4.30), Foot Long Hot Dog (£5.40), Mexican style Nachos (£4.50), Chicken Dippers (£6), plus you can have a Pie & Pint for £8.30.
This is getting awfully complicated. Surely they won’t make Chelsea play four times in a week? If there isn’t a free date, then there are three radical possibilities;
i The FA can postpone two Premier League matches and hold the replay at a weekend.
ii The replay can be held on the weekend booked for the semifinal.
iii Toss a coin!
Postponing matches would not be straight forward; there would be knock-on effects for TV contracts, other clubs and venues and, of course, fans. I know what the priorities will be.

ii Don’t think Wembley would be too best pleased but saying that, Wembley should host the replay now its booked for a game. Both sets of fans would no doubt appreciate the short tube ride the match :):)
If Chelsea beat Bucharest then from what I can see the only options open to the FA are 2 of those already mentioned:
1) cancel a Premier league game (FA Cup takes priority with fixtures)
2) have the replay on of the semi-final dates (the stadium would still more than likely be full for the midweek semi-final anyway)
I doubt Chelsea will give up their home advantage, plus aren’t their squads big enough to rotate through 4 games in 8 or 9 days…. Latics have done it in the past!!!
Chelsea v United replay is now on April 1st. I guess if Chelsea win tomorrow night their potential semi will be on the Sunday as they ain’t gonna play away in Europa Thursday before a Saturday match are they?
So, if Chelsea beat Steaua Bucharest, they will have to play 4 games in 8 days.
And if Chelsea reach the FA Cup Final and the Europa League Final, they will apparently have to play 19 games in 9 and a half weeks. Some players may play two further World Cup Qualifiers too – they will hardly have time to catch their breath!
We’ll see how Chelsea get on. It will be an amazing achievement if they do reach both finals.
And to think that Wigan could qualify for the Europa League next season. I wonder if Dave Whelan and Roberto Martinez would consider a programme like this to be a burden. I imagine there would be some severely weakened teams.
My concerns with all this is the bigger picture.Southampton, sunderland,Aston villa all to play Chelsea .
Resting players, injuries, not at full strength and major advantage to these sides.
You would have thought that the powers to be would have at least waited 24 hrs to see if Chelsea go through or not. This way they could have played played the replay on the 2nd/3rd April.
If Chelsea get through tonight you can 100% guarantee we’ll play on a Sat as Chelsea will be playing the 2nd leg of the EUFA cup on the 11th

It’s difficult playing in Europe, even when you’ve got a big squad and 23 players out on loan.
