Unfortunately he is quite right though isn’t he ! I must admit that my enthusiasm has wained somewhat. The lad’s game was delayed 15mins, so didn’t leave the pitch ’til 12.15.
25 minutes later he’s on the train to Crewe still wearing his football boots and kit!Got into Wigan at 2.40. Taxi took us through the industrial estate to the canal bridge and we were in our seats to see the teams come out.
Mind, any more late kick offs like today and he’s spending Saturday afternoons shopping with his mum!
