looking like there could be a surprise yes vote for scotish independence
where does that leave scotish players ,they wont be in the EU so will be same lines as any other non EU players
does that mean they willl have to quit playing in england interesting thought if it happensEstablished international precedent is that all current Scottish citizens will keep their British nationality and get dual citizenship with Scotland. Anyone born in Scotland after independence (if it happens) would only have Scottish nationality.
personally i dont feel that is right they are voting to leave the uk they dont want to be british
so dual nationality should not happen in my view but scotts who live in england should be allowed to retain british nationality by applying to do so
if and its looking likley they vote yes then all scotts should be that scotts
but im sure they cant have it all their way
as for footballers those playing before independence should be fine those after no they should be treated like any other foreign countryWhat will happen to the Union Jack?, should we now have an English national anthem?. Will we still be able to buy porridge oats? :) :)
