Scotland and gomez

As the topic was locked for some reason just wanted to say that Im glad some people are realising that Gomez is a decent player, I admittedly slated him at first, before realising that the lad had the quality and just needed to get used to the game, since then I refused to call him as when he is playing well he is the kind of player we need. As for Scotland I need say no more, A disgrace.

scotland i dont think he his good enough, but if he played with a partner maybe he could improve his game, because it must be hard to come in the prem let alone play up front on his own, and once again that is the blame of the manager,
Gomez is not a winger and needs to be in the middle with players who will run around for him, because he as not got got a tackle in him but could be a good play maker in the middle not on the wing because he aint quick enough, and that also is the managers fault,
Dont get me wrong i aint a great fan of these players but i have to look at the wider picture and the tactics we are playing aint helping these two,

He needs to re think his tactics, 442 would suit us better,

Nah, just checked; Storer played 16 games on loan to us from Everton; then Phil Neal took him to Bowton. Whittaker played two games and was substituted in both.[/quote]
