But, i’ll most definitely take the 3 points.
24 February 2018 at 10:57 pm #166921Made it hard work beating a poor side. Good to win after the come down and given a few a break for the next game. Take that.
24 February 2018 at 11:07 pm #166922Yes it was a bit of an anti climax but it’s three points in the bag and it gave a few players some match time. Credit must be given to Keith Hill and his players who played some good stuff at times. Colclough struggled but would look better playing with Nathan Byrne. Daniels never crossed the half way line. Walker was great. Vaughan looked ok but not fit enough. Fulton isn’t Morsy and Power was hot and cold. Looked better when Massey came on but this was a game we could have easily dropped points in. Play that way with that line up at Ewood we will be trounced.

24 February 2018 at 11:27 pm #166924In London working so couldn’t go today but it’s going to go to the wire this promotion lark, great result for the Shrews away at Charlton a few expected them to struggle today and Blackburn are going stronger and stronger it will be interesting at Ewood to see if they do the same tactics as they played at the DW one thing for sure they can’t keep a clean sheet so another massive 3 points today for us even if we did make hard work of it.

25 February 2018 at 12:13 am #166926It was a great win considering the changes and key players missing. Rochdale certainly not a poor team think they’ll be ok with there games in hand.
The performance was what you’d expect from players who haven’t played much.
Daniels and Fulton did ok but were dead on there feet at the end.
Walker looked promising but need much more from Coco. Disappointing again.
Vaughn put a great shift in can’t fault his effort.
Hopefully have the A team back for Bristol. Certainly needed for Blackburn.
25 February 2018 at 12:51 am #166927It was always going to be a case of “after the Lord mayor’s show”, today.
Did what was required, scored, defended and got the 3 points. We have to be happy with that.
25 February 2018 at 12:56 am #166928The measure of a champion side is the ability to win, with a reduced side, on an off day…
Mission achieved….3 points…
FAC aside, we’ve lost the last 2 games so well pleased tonight.
What we would have given for a few ugly wins last season
25 February 2018 at 3:31 am #166931Any thing after monday was going to seem ‘flat’. But we won. We did what matters.
25 February 2018 at 7:39 am #166933We are on about most of the homes games this season aren’t we! Apart from the obvious last Monday I can only remember 45 mins against Gillingham and the Bury game that have had me thinking ” That was good” ! I missed the West Ham game by the way!
26 February 2018 at 12:02 am #166942First half was a bit scrappy and there wasn’t much understanding between the team which was to be expected considering changes. But thought they did well first half.
Walker was superb for me, that lad looks to be a good prospect and I was surprised when cook took him off. We looked weaker for the change and Rochdale became stronger in midfield.
Fulton for me made no impact on the game and I couldn’t see what he could bring to this team?26 February 2018 at 2:54 am #166943We are on about most of the homes games this season aren’t we! Shrewsbury, Charlton, Blackburn, Peterborough, Bradford, Blackpool again not classics could go down as points chucked away. Looking at that Fill the home league performances haven’t been that amazing overall. It must improve to gain automatic promotion.

We have the second best record at home so far this season but the performances have been scrappy on the whole, that is my point! It’s a pretty shitty league if we are being honest with ourselves!
26 February 2018 at 3:49 am #166945Great performances in different ways in cup games at home though against Boro youth,Bournemouth, West Ham and Citeh. Cups been fantastic and I just hope that isn’t rolled out as an excuse if we balls promotion up in what many call a pretty poor league.
