13 June 2010 at 8:18 pm #37212Go the club shop with your client code, they can see you have renewed on the system and buy the DVD at £5.99.
Its not bad either by the way.
Why have the club shop (run until recently not by WAFC but by Vandanel) got my details on their computer?
In accordance with the Data Protection Act my details should only be available for the purposes for which they were given, ie for purchase from the ticket office of a ticket.
If I then give permission to say they can be given to the shop after I’ve bought the ticket so that I can buy a DVD then fine – but it shouldn’t be the other way round.
13 June 2010 at 9:59 pm #37231OK then.Just tried to do it online.
But there’s no option online for me to get last season’s DVD at reduced cost. So how do I do that then?
… and are you really telling me that we, a Premier League club, in the richest league in the world, can’t afford to send our regular loyal supporters a bit of publicity material?
It’s one thing to say we aren’t going to pay players over the odds , ie thousands a week above what is reasonable, but quite another to do a one-off print and mailshot. Even a letter would be something!!
Do you work for the club No1fan? If so, tell them to get their fingers out.
I e-mailed the club some time back and the early season ticket launch, online renewal site then sending out packs was always considered the most effective way to sell season tickets.
I understand the club has a new system to collect data and target marketing which is why they’ve been asking fans for their e-mail and details this past year or so.

14 June 2010 at 12:36 am #37246May be easier – but it’s illegal

16 June 2010 at 10:04 pm #37618Mickey Mouse productions presents ” How to run a club on a shoestring ” ! The club is a business and just like any other business you have to chase up your customers and never become complacent or you will go under ! Due to the fact that I have not been contacted on ticket renewal options in any shape or form, then if I have not received my usual pack by the time I return from my hols ( 27th June ) then I will NOT be renewing ! Obstinance or principle, you decide ! :?
