The magnificent Tics! Can’t wait
4 May 2019 at 11:12 am #178599Excellent value. This looks like a freeze or a cut in ST prices in all areas compared to this season:

I would therefore suspect very strongly that the current policy of charging above average prices for matchday tickets will be continuing. Those of you who complain about on the day prices really need to take advantage of the reduced ST price and the 0% finance offered to purchase it and get yourself down to the ticket office before 1 June.

The problem round here is onions.
Someone’s peeling loads of onions.
And hay fever.
Yes, hay fever too.4 May 2019 at 1:42 pm #178609I’ve just been watching a “Lassie” film

My mate Lee from Sunderland is complaining today. He bought tickets for Southend 5-30 kick off for what he thought would have been a promotion party a few weeks ago. Mr Ross isn’t his favourite at the moment. Just shows budgets aren’t everything. I think the East wind blowing off Roker promenade has blown Wills flames out!

For a club of our stature its the best way to do it. Re pay the loyalty of the fans who suffer every week.
£25 a match seems to be mosts peoples ceiling and paying more does gripe with them.
Buying a season ticket would still give anyone going to 12 matches a match price of less than £25.
Anyone who knows they will go to 15 matches will get every match for less than £20 a match.
All other matches would be a bonus and potentialy work out for the season to £13 a match if you went to them all.
Nobody in their right mind can have any grumbles about these prices especially as it can be paid monthly at 0%
Even if you leave it until after July, at £369 it only works out at £16 per match.4 May 2019 at 5:09 pm #178613£16-00 to watch some of that utter garbage we had the mis-fortune to see last (this I mean) season sounds expensive but like you say it is an effort to repay fans for their sufference.

We have had the pleasure to watch a potential England captain and world class player if managed correctly.
It has been hard at times, but in the main the home games have not been too bad, unfortunately for you, you missed the better games from early and late in the season.4 May 2019 at 6:22 pm #178618It was so good even Lostock Hall Latics was fed up of it and threatening not to renew his season card and you were even looking forward to close season.
4 May 2019 at 6:41 pm #178619It was so good even Lostock Hall Latics was fed up of it and threatening not to renew his season card and you were even looking forward to close season.Correct, but I never said, or really expected it all to be good. You have to take the rough with the smooth watching football.
I think over the years we have been spoiled with success and very talented players and we have a tendancy to become too ecpectant.
I know we struggled at times, but funnily I think a lot of the home games were more enjoyable than the home games from the previous season when we actually won League One.
Hopefully PC will have learnt a lot this season and will be allowed funds to improve certain positions. Replacing RJ and possibly NP isn’t going to be easy, but we’ll just have to wait and see.4 May 2019 at 8:18 pm #178620Beltin promo video; that captures the essence of being a Latics Mon.
Slight correction Donny; I threatened to buy my season ticket, but not to go to as many games :(
Think we have been on the rough end of some dreadful refereeing decisions this season. However, considering Knob end have had a great season; we are only 4 wins behind them !
In general, I am dismayed with the way that greed and money now rules football and the smaller clubs have very little hope of bridging the gap. My enjoyment is the ups and downs of Wigan Athletic and being part of our David & Goliath conquests; and not so much the whole football scene.
