4 May 2019 at 9:22 pm #178621Beltin promo video; that captures the essence of being a Latics Mon.
Slight correction Donny; I threatened to buy my season ticket, but not to go to as many games :(
Think we have been on the rough end of some dreadful refereeing decisions this season. However, considering Knob end have had a great season; we are only 4 wins behind them !
In general, I am dismayed with the way that greed and money now rules football and the smaller clubs have very little hope of bridging the gap. My enjoyment is the ups and downs of Wigan Athletic and being part of our David & Goliath conquests; and not so much the whole football scene.
Spoken like a true tic Ali lad. Whatever the division whatever the competition whatever the outcome we will always be little Wigan. Best rollercoaster ride on the planet. And once again the club that never ceases to amaze has announced amazing ST prices.
5 May 2019 at 5:40 pm #178627I couldn’t agree more, LHL. My no 1 footballing priority will always be all things Latics. Then, in descending order, I’d say I pay the most interest in:
The kids’ U10 and U12 teams
Fantasy football
Local non-league teams (various)
The FA Cup
England
British teams in the Champions League (not the group stages, though)
The Premier League5 May 2019 at 7:42 pm #178628Mr h that is scandalous! Theres no mention of women’s football in there.
Bloody rubbish Martin!

And the season changing amazing win at Leeds epitomises everything you said there Ali.

TBF, cos of my work, I regard a good season for me as being able to attend at least 10 – 12 games per season. For me it still works out cheaper to buy a season ticket. 2 seasons ago in league 1, most of my weekends off fell on latics days, so I was able to attend most games. Last season I attended 12.
30 May 2019 at 7:08 pm #179052Just renewed mine & my sons for next season. I prefer the old fashioned method of driving down to Wigan & getting it in person.
30 May 2019 at 11:09 pm #179058You do right !
I always have except this time…..ordered on line 2 weeks ago an seen nowt !
31 May 2019 at 2:08 am #179075I received my season ticket in the post today! Only problem – I had a card from Royal Mail yesterday saying that the sender hadn’t paid enough postage so I had to stump up £2 to get the envelope. I had no idea what is was when I paid the £2 – however, turns out it was my season ticket!!!
Is this a money-saving ploy by the club to get us all to pay for our tickets to be delivered???

Yep! I just prefer it that way. I drive down to my parents, then a walk down the canal to the stadium. Have a look at the stadium again, renew my tickets & get them there & then.
31 May 2019 at 9:26 pm #179082Eh up it’s landed today !
No £2 charge or owt

I too have received a Royal Mail card today telling me the same and it will cost me £2 to find out. If it is my season ticket I will be ringing the club asking for an explanation.
