5 July 2015 at 1:23 am #143060If we can sell six thousand seats in advance then our average gate will be at least 6k plus with the matchday ticket sales.
About 1200 seats sold so far, so quite a way to go.

If that figure is correct could we possibly be looking at crowds of in the region of 4,000? Surely that many can’t jump ship at once?

Has the sad sack actually counted every seat in the stadium I wouldn’t put it past it
5 July 2015 at 1:33 pm #143065No I havent counted them, but its interesting to see nobody has rushed to counter the claim.
I read somewhere else that the figure was 600!

C,mon mutt, do you really believe that marrer?. The club are offering a family season ticket for 2 adults and 2 kids for £570 online and £620 normal price now that tells me there will be plenty of them sold and I expect the family stand to be pretty well populated this season. Maybe at the expense of the east and west but who can blame folk for changing seats and stands when it,s around £25 quid a game for a family of four. To me it is a no-brainer and many will take up this offer. Let us wait till we open at Cov and see how many we have sold then and see what the attendance is at home for our first league game before we start fretting.

Exactly why I didn’t believe the 600 figure. But there are an awful lot of green dots on the ST renewal site, including the south stand. I did think initially they were selling well, but then remembered that the front 8 rows are being closed down.

Been said that we have sold just over 8,000 so far, which if that is the case then that is fantastic
I know quite a few that havent renewed yet and there are always those that do it late in the day
The club must be pleased with those numbers
:woohoo: :woohoo:
5 July 2015 at 11:58 pm #143076Said it before and I will say it again…
…I don’t care. Attendance = 0 points.
If it mattered then Mutty’s beloved Sunderland might actually be someone.
6 July 2015 at 12:08 am #143077Mutty might be getting a letter from an solicter :woohoo:
