Last week we changed attacking midfielder for defensive midfielder but we were winning at the time.

Darren Gibson came on nearly 10 mins before Connoley and he moved Powell up front.Connoley came on for Lee Evans, an attack minded midfielder for a play maker.
FFS if we had hung on for a draw,we would all have been happy. No matter what the changes Cook made we didn’t have one shot on target. For the last 20 mins we had Powell, Windass and Jacobs on the field are you saying there are no goals in those 3?From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Everyone was raving about the tactics last week, playing a dangerous game for me, its OK if you’re two or three up but at one nill or nill nill you’re asking for trouble, I would rather see us go for it and loose than to defend and loose anyway.
Slightly different last week though. In moving Powell up as a lonely striker we lose the effect he has in midfield which is irreplaceable.
Last week we simply shored up the midfield.
No shots on target means something didnt work attacking wise.Get it right fatfan……..Powell not and never will be a 1 up top striker…..Connolly I’m afraid not good enough…..Only decent goal stealer warming bench…Ok doing that when in front yes but with game still in balance a risky tactic that went down in flames.FFS we didn’t hang on for a draw and I definitely would have put Grigg on a lot earlier. Garner starting in front of Grigg ??…..
No manager gets it right everytime browny your right, but dont moan at the same things you have asked him to do
Grigg, Macca and Vaughan all carrying injuries and Cookie is trying to manage their fitness that’s why he is reluctant to bring them back too quick. Norwich are flying at the minute and it was always going to be a struggle to come back with anything from the game. Cookie is doing a good job.
Cook doing a good job but please don’t praise his tactics every game when they were shit today.Who is praising his tactics? All I was pointing out was the fact that you was indicating that Cook made some bad changes when in fact before any changes had been made, for 68 mins we hadn’t had one shot on target. Now come on; who got the winner against Bristol City after being pushed up front? Talk about fickle fans and over reaction.
By the way Will Grigg is carrying a knock and we have another game on Tuesday. As for Garner, he took his chance last Friday and deserved his place today.From Matlock to ManU

You had from 2pm to moan about Garner in for Grigg, Macca on the bench blah blah blah. You also didn’t moan about the team selection and changes made during the Bristol and Hull games. Give your head a big wobble man and get into reality…. we will not win or play superbly in every game no matter what team Cooky plays. It has nothing to do with the quality of strikers the fact that a player makes a rash challenge in the box to give a soft penalty away.

What a journey!Wobble off……just checked …yep lost to a pen…Created nothing like we did at “best team in league Brentford “….and “2 new impact signings” Qpr..He got it right at home when winning but the same didnt work for today.Wobble your own head and keep reminding me every time we play superbly ,cos unless your rosey specs on again then the 8 of us who go agree we haven’t played consistently well but have giving some resilient performances. Whenever we lose away you always have some dogshit excuse rather than a reality check that he IS rather negative away from home……or do the results lie…???….Back on with your specs now.
Not Knocking Cookie, cos he is doing a great job; but I just can’t see what Connolly adds to the team. If we had left Lee Evans on the pitch, we would have be coming back up the A1 with a point !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
