I’ve got sympathy for the fans but if they really care that much, I’m sure they could buy the club out, my maths could be wrong but if 20,000 of them chuck in 1,000 that would raise 20,000,000 and the tax bill is only 7,000,000 ! The players would even get paid on time for a change.
Come to think of it, if they could persuade 20,000 fans to buy season tickets for next season now, that would do it, I appear to be a genius.No.

I was editing when you were replying and done through season tickets it doesn’t seem so bad. I should also have said that the fans would then at least get a share in the club, as they’ve saved it.
