Its time to put it out there and give it some fight, we have done it before this season, not often enough, but we can do this.
Up the Tics!
14 April 2019 at 4:07 am #178045Still waiting for your analysis…….didn’t realise not going to all away games would alter things !! There you have it,your answer sums you up. Checked your earlier posts”Powell best player in this league”….Oh sorry when he’s fit !!…Nit picking over exactly how many away f*** ups we’ve had…15,16,19…..still a sackable offence on it’s own. Then there’s your injury persecution syndrome.Every team has injuries,so stop bleating. Hows about trying this one “Cook has failed miserably” resulting in a team that has no fight ….remember 3 defeats of City …massive underdogs ? 8 years fighting survival in premier league. Here we are playing Norwich tomorrow with no where near the same underdog status so time for the manager, players to go for it and show the balls that this club is renown for .Put the season behind us and show everyone we won’t go downwith a whimper….that’s all most supporters have wanted.Fuck me glad I deserved that big post and we still are not in the bottom 3.
How do you fancy your chances against St Helens next week? From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!14 April 2019 at 7:33 pm #178078Today, for the first team in an age, we looked like we realised our situation. Played as a team and should’ve won. Need to continue like this for the remaining fixtures. Still too close to call.

Need to continue like this for the remaining fixtures. Still too close to call. They certainly looked up for it today & did show a lot of fight. Full credit to all. And as you say, we could have won that game.
14 April 2019 at 8:17 pm #178086First 15 mins norwich was all over us had they scored a early goal or two we would have folded fairplay we had some backbone today.we could do with that performance more than now again.then we wouldn’t be on the brink off relegation.
14 April 2019 at 8:48 pm #178088This was only the third or fourth game Wigan played well. Jonas Olsen when he came on was a real handful in their box, which is something you cannot say about Leon Clarke. I thought Kipre should be given a chance up front but I think Olsen, who was a very decent player for WBA, could be a useful sub. Goodness we still miss Dan Burn. One point is okay in the circumstances. What has happened to Nick Powell? His heart is certainly not with Wigan. It has been a great privilege to have witnessed a brilliant young player. Reece James has been absolutely superb this season, as has Antonee Robinson who missed many games sadly by injury whilst on international duty. Now please, if you can, explain the Gary Roberts situation. Given an extension yet not played since.
Whatever happens. If Cook stays he has to change his training staff. He has to go the Preston route and go with youth.
Good Luck against Leeds and Preston. Millwall will be v difficult if that game is the decider.. Squeeky Bum time.
14 April 2019 at 9:09 pm #178089Certainly not sleepwalking this afternoon, great performance and loads of positives.
Preston and millwall games the key I think14 April 2019 at 9:11 pm #178092Got our luck with the pen
14 April 2019 at 9:18 pm #178093Got our luck with the penThen he cancelled it out with the offside. What nonsense; he was stood in an onside position but his hand was offside. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen that !!!!!!!
14 April 2019 at 9:26 pm #178094Draw fair then.
He’s off BTW
14 April 2019 at 9:37 pm #178095So the striker cant point towards where he wants the ball delivered incase his fingernails offside?
His hand wasnt interfering unless he is going to do a Maradona.14 April 2019 at 10:01 pm #178097This was only the third or fourth game Wigan played well. Roberts isn’t playing because he’s got an injury.
