      I was expecting to be slightly disappointed yesterday and I was hoping the ref would give me cause for complaint. Latics winning ruined everything.

      Observer makes an interesting point – we are in the top half of the table having played five out of last year’s top six in our first seven.

      I was driving home through Standish and I spotted another Tics mon heading to the pub I grinned, he grinned and everything was right with the world.

        Deffo not me even though I live in Standish, I stayed in, had a cup of horlicks and had early night….
        (Wasnt heading towards Bears Paw by any chance?)

          Not sure. Don’t know Standish that well.

          Just heading up to the traffic lights int town centre.

            Had a genuine feeling that a load of cobwebs had been blown away.

            But at the same time, can’t help feeling cautious, as if we slip up away at Hull, Burnley, and Portsmouth, the Chelsea victory will be meaningless.

            Overall? Mentally refreshed.
