Lets see how the FA deal with a high profile premiership player caught pissed behind the wheel, excellent example to the kids of today.
After Lee Hughes (and assault) and Luke McCormick and countless other footballers who have been caught DD’ing over the years you think the FA would do something and send out a stronger message to the kids of today.
If anyone has lost relative or friend murdered by someone drink driving then only you will truly know how this destroys peoples life’s and something needs to be done regarding high profile players who think its OK to drink drive in there £100,000+ cars.If he is found guilty, ban him from any football activity for the same amount of time he gets banned from driving. Let the FA make a stance and show all the consequences if caught drink driving and how it will ruin others life’s and your own.
I doubt it, they’ll probably ban MacKay for 3 private text and the same goes for Whelan’s stupid remarks while Berahino will more than likely get a couple of grand fine (that should hurt) and a 12 month ban. At least someone will get a job chauffeuring him around for 12 months
