25 September 2011 at 3:25 pm #71685always remember michael o’ neill getting a good cheering from the fans when he was subbed.
25 September 2011 at 7:42 pm #71696…are seriously starting to do my head in, in the first couple of minutes McCarthy passed to Gomez a good 2 or 3 yards short and left him on his wrong foot, what did half the mongs near me do blamed Gomez which started a good 45 minutes of blaming Gomez for everything that went wrong. The same mongs (well the one sat behind me) twice shouted to the players to get a foot in when we actually had the ball. Another instance was when DiSanto had the ball 3 yards away from Gomez lost it but guess who got the blame, Gomez at this stage i just turned to the lad sat next to me shook my head and we both agreed that most people around me havent got a clue.
I thought Watson and McCarthy were both not up to their best today but obviously it was the whipping boy Gomez who took all the blame. At the end of the day it wasnt Gomez who gave the ball away in the first few minutes that gave the goal away and put us on the back foot for the rest of the game.
FFS give Gomez a break.
Good grief, ive had sunday morning turds that play more positive football

Your sarcastic shout in the second half of “”FFS GOMEZ”was quite comical. atleast 5 people turned round thinking WTF hes not on the pitch.
