The right-back has joined Roberto Martinez’sLatics on a three-year deal.

Stam spent two years at FC Twente after joining the Dutch champions from NAC Bredain 2008.

It is reported Wigan have spent around £3million to secure the 26-year-old’s services.

So am I. All of our best players will refuse European football to stay at Wigan. :D
