I must say i cant stand the way that Bobby is pimping himself out to all and sundry almost rubbing our clubs face in it on a daily basis. How long does it take to meet a bloke and decide if you want a new job?

Poyet for me, the guy come’s across similar to Martinez and will be hungry to do well and use us as a “stepping stone”, which seems to be the norm for everyone that come’s through the glass doors.For those shouting for poyet how much have Brighton have you seen, my view was they was lik us in the bad old 433 days and overpased it more than we did, also he refuses to chalnge even when hey starting to slide down the table, comes across as a bit of an odd ball to me not sure wheel an would get on with him.
Don’t forget Bruce comfortably kept us up when in charge, judas yes money grabber yes but also good manager. Big mick would be my other option.
I still think Bobby’s dream job might still fall through. Big Dave has indicated the terms Bobby has demanded of the owners i.e. total control of all things football related at Anfield.
They are used to having a bench and a half of backroom staff I notice when we play them, they struggle to find seats for the entourage and 5 or 6 of um sit on the concrete steps at the side of the seats.
I also think there may be an issue if Bobby wants his own coaching staff. There are some experienced guys there at Liverpool with Steve Clarke and Kevin Keane just two who would pish all over Jones and Barrow with regards to knowledge and experience at top level.
Having said all that, the only manager I would like Whelan to go for is Ian Holloway. He likes his teams to play football, will have learned by his mistakes and actually looks and acts passionately about his club.

that did him jack shiite good at Sunderland .What’s all this Bruce spent a fortune? Just on his signings of Valencia, Palacios and Charlie and Cattermole we pulled in a profit of 32 million didnt we? Fair enough his 3.5 on Kapo wasnt his finest signing but then Boselli and Scotland aint pulled up many trees.
I aint saying he should be our number one target but lets have it right. He pulled a team from bottom of the table to the top half of the table when we left. His record speaks as stronger on paper than any other Manager we have had in the Premier league.
