Last night, Stevie Wonder played a rousing 3 hour long gig in Tokyo.

At the end of his gig, he did a bit of a question and answer session with some people in the first few rows. One Japanese fella said to him “Play a Jazz Chord”. Stevie was shocked “A jazz chord? I’ve been playing for 3 hours, doing all kinds of songs…..and you’re asking for a jazz chord?” But the Jap was adamant. “Yeah. I wanna here a jazz chord”.

Bemused, Stevie began to play loosley and wildly, and for the next 15 mins he and his band played every bit of Jazz he could think of, hitting on bits of Billie Holliday, Dizzy Gillespie, and other classic Jazz.

The crowd went mad, but the Jap bloke was stood there, hands on hips, shaking his head. “No, no, no….a JAZZ CHORD!” he said………….

      Stevie was bemused.

“A Jazz chord to say a ruv yoo” Said the Jap.

I used to do a similar one but it involved Cliff Richard singing his famous hit “T-its and fanny”
