Some on here very easily pleased.Monday it was “2 winnable home games ,let’s grab 6 pts”.Now its a good point against a decent side. We are poor….and sniffing around the edge of playoffs is best we can hope for unless we improve in front of goal.Hiwula? Forget it huffs and puffs but basically doesn’t have a goal in him….Still not convinced with Grigg……Davies as expected, excellent when on pitch which is looking sporadic. Holt ..spend a fortune on him in wages and medical bills then probably let someone else benefit. As for Caldwells negative away tactics and playing it slowly slowly from the back..All recipes for another crap season.FFS inject some pace into the midfield and forward line it’s like watching in slow motion. Then a gain hoe can we expect to benefit from a settled side with a patchwork team of loans.

Positives. Junior is our class in midfield while he’s here, we’ll look better when he’s playing, he would have got on but for the sending off, arguably should have started. The lad from Middlesbrough will be a good player for us while he’s here. Get Davies back we’ll look better. If he was match fit and 100% alert Grigg would have got a couple. Jacobs is immense and was our attacking impetus. Donervan Daniels, who’d have thought it our new overlapping full back, looking good. Reece James, getting better each game and has more than a touch of the Leighton Baines about him. Clean sheet with 10 men and a new keeper, fairly confident we would have won but for a sending off. Going forward with pace and directness scares all these teams. If they’re 2nd and unbeaten away we have absolutely nothing to fear.

Negatives. Slow build up again particularly first half, got to go more direct, Barnett still scares the life out of me, Perkins and Power together isn’t going to see us winning regularly in fact I thiink regrettably Perkins is going backwards in more ways than one. Breaks up play well but can’t pass to a team mate, watch him pre-match too. Without the captain for 3 games, not sure where we’d get with an appeal but surely the lad bangs the ball forward and at no point does he have a goal scoring opportunity as JJ collects the ball, not to mention their yellow in the first half which looked more goal threatening.

Definitely glass half full for me,

Is it not just a one match for preventing a goal scoring opportunity? Thought you’d have got this one right having made all that fuss about Barney’s red card at Port Vale.

        From Matlock to ManU
        What a journey!

Will that one match not be the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy game?

I can’t be bothered looking up the regulations but I can’t see someone being allowed to play in the JPT if they had been suspended?

        Checked on FA site –
“Premier League, Football League, Conference National, WSL:

Red cards in first team competitive matches result in immediate suspension from forthcoming first team competitive matches. Red cards in non-first team matches will take effect from the 14th day following dismissal.”

Mcann and junior why do u think Dorothy perkins and power are creative they r like a static caravan

Perkins isn’t creative and wasn’t bought as a creative midfielder.

His job is to win the ball back and give it to the creative players.

There’s a saying that for a piano concert you need 1 piano player and 10 piano carriers. Perkins is one of the piano carriers.

        No convinced with Power though.

If he gave it to the creative players on our side rather than the opposition though…………….

Unfortunately Jonny he gives it to the opposition’s creative players more often than not! On a scale of 1-10 for a League One midfielder I give him a 6 ! Don’t be fooled by the energy! :)
