only two games left and people from wigan have woke up, shame its taken so long

Those who got Stoke tickets are season ticket holders so are already ‘awake’.

I had no chance of being anywhere near the ticket office/phone/PC today so feel very short changed at the lack of vision/foresight displayed by the club in what could be the biggest game since Sheff Utd.[/quote]

You must be the only person in the world over the age of 6 and under the age of 75, without a mobile phone.

      From Matlock to ManU
      What a journey!

No idea, mate – why would I? – but with an average away following this season of about 600, I can see why 1400 would have been deemed to be enough.

Like I’m arsed – I’ve got mine

        LOL Same f**k the rest!

        Joke!

Loyal fans not having priority over corprates is sh*t

not really, today was for season tkt holders so already awake, obvious issue is not enough tkts for what will be the biggest game since sheff utd, in a stadium where the home support is vocal, the club have been banging on about 12th man great support etc, then when its needed they let us down, 1400 is bollocks 2500 or even 3000 like the old days at huddersfield leeds barnsley QPR. This is shit.end of.

Not able to use it at work today.

Wouldn’t mind if we’d took em all and sold out – that would just be my bad luck, but to short change us at the risk of losing a few thousand pounds if they are unsold really is a very poor decision.

My situation too. In work, unable to use mobile. Not got tickets.

          Not happy.

Two things spring to mind here.

Firstly, if more than 600 (on average) had bothered to do away games this season, the club might have been more inclined to take more tickets for this game.

Secondly, those season ticket holders who have moaned that they have been neglected and treated shabbily over the last few seasons have been paid back in spades today.

Oh, whoever posted that they suspect we will get an additional allocation… don’t be holding your breath.

              51..You might be right…

I was one of the fans who had the pleasure of seeing us beat spurs this season around 150??of their..I went Arsenal away Tuesday night to see Martinez wave the white flag before we started the game in th ecarling cup..And most of the other matches also..No ticket for the Stoke game..I didnt expect the big uptake so soon so thats my fault and can live with that..But friends who went to these above matches also(around 20) are left fuming and not for the first time..
Wigan dont help themselves when it comes to keeping their loyal fanbase, this has been evident over the past three to four years..Prawn butties for me then..

Our away following is poor yes, but surely nobody at the club expected this one not to sell out??

I feel like I’m on my soapbox here just because I haven’t got one, but only 1,400 have been rewarded (and fair play to them). I suspect our season ticket sales have been fairly constant throughout the Prem years. The other 10,000 or so haven’t been rewarded for their loyalty. Quite the opposite.

Most of them were probably there at the beginning of the Prem, many of us well before and I for one would like to be there at (possibly) the end.

And yes I do feel that as a ST holder I’ve been treated shabbily/neglected at times over the years as the club try to attract more casual support in. Bring a mate for a fiver for example benefits the mate, not me, but this is my club and I would expect that at on one of the most important game for years they would have used their nouse.

Had it been at home, there’d have been all sorts of offers on to fill the ground and comments about the importance of getting behind the team. Sadly that doesn’t apply when it’s Stoke who are getting the cash.

If we sold out every away game this season or even took 1400 to every away game, then i think you could argue but we didnt, Lets face it its only like the big clubs going to cup finals eg cant see every season ticket holder getting a champions league final ticket at man u

                  #65332

Man U didn’t sell out in Moscow. Anyone could have at one at the end. But imagine the uproar if because of this they only took half their allocation to Wembley.

But anyhow it’s not going to change anything. As someone else said on here there isn’t anymore coming so I’ll just have to accept it and move on.
