I think Stevie Wonder could see that coming. Leave things till the last minute and suffer the consequences![/quote]
Nothing to do with us leaving it until the last minute.
Barnsley have been holding out for the best possible deal and likewise the player has been weighing up his options.
Exactly the same happened last year with the lad we were trying to sign from Watford.
money talks….qpr (worst start in prem history and rock bottom) sign multiple players who they shouldn’t be signing…….wafc (in a better position than qpr and in a better position to survive) get knocked back etc
MONEY TALKS………….QPR GO BUST PLEASE…………BYE BYE QPR, IT’S BEEN HORRIBLE KNOWING THAT YOU MADE IT TO THE PREM WHEN THE FAURLIN DEAL SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOU DEMOTED…..JUST LIKE WEST HAM SHOULD HAVE BEEN
2 LONDON CLUBS EH, AVOIDING PROSECUTION goodpost goodpost goodpost
I wonder if the premier league plastic sky sports playstation x-factor tossers will be so quick to plug the premier league when our country has NO representation in the 1/4 finals of the champions league!!!!!
best league in the world….my cake hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always going to come out second best when a club like Everton enters the bidding.Unfortunately being in the bottom 4 year after year doesn’t help sell the club either.Good luck to Qpr .If the chairman wants to spend his dosh in a bid to save them from relegation thats his perogative and his gamble too.
Weren’t we interested in Seamus Coleman during the closed season? I wonder if that might be on again if Stones goes to Everton?
No chance, they are signing Stones for the future not for now. To be honest so were we. He wasnt likely to be the answer to solve our immediate defensive woes was he?
this is the reason the club is investing in the new academy and training facilities, so we can bring our own through..we simply cant compete in the transfer market.
being totally honest, we are probably the least attractive club in the premier league for a player to come to.
clubs who we can compete with financially like reading, west brom, get bigger crowds, pay better wages, or in readings case, is near london so have advantages over latics.
This deal could have been done 2wks ago, Barnsley will have told us there value but we went in below it instead of saying yeah we will pay it.The new academy isnt just for us to bring our own talent through but to also sign young players and develope them
