against out of form sides…Oldham. .Posh..and now Colchester. Glad to scrape a point in the end. Thought today’s game would be tricky, but we would have enough to roll em over being they had conceded 81 before today.Last gasp goal stops Wallsall from leaping above us should they win mid week but still worrying at this stage of season after working so hard to climb into 2nd spot.
Defence was shocking today, another two points dropped.
Missed Pearce today big time! Ten games to go and thirty points to play for, no worries we’ll be reet.

We mustn’t underestimate teams at the bottom of the league. The are fighting for every point they can get, and there is no such thing as an easy game.
But at the end of the day throwing away four points against lowly and out of form sides count as shit results. That was an awfull result today against a very poor outfit following on from poor individual performances by some last week. We haven’t lost many with our cautious play but in May all these drawn games could be the difference between derbys next season with Nob End and Blackburn or league one derbys with Noblot Bury Dale Fleetwood and Owdham.

Question I have is why now is GC playing with defensive formation? Didn’t go today but we sounded terrible defensively.

Two of their goals were pile drivers and the third a pen. The point stops Walsall going above us midweek even with a win. Calm down boys this point may prove crucial. :)

Take away the penalty we conceded, & i haven’t seen the action yet – damn recording of FL show stopped on me just after walsall game :( but we would have won 3 – 2 & people would have been happier.
As i said donny, just relax – its only a game. The refreshing thing for me this season is that win, lose or draw i just dont get myself ecstatic or depressed anymore by the result. This season is like watching wigan of old where i went to the game & just watched it.
Dont be fooled by my attitude as yes i do want us to win promotion. But if it doesn’t happen i’ll still be there for my 39th season. Ohhhh anniversary coming up ;)
And you just like me have loved that 39 years. I can’t see fans of any other clubs having a journey like we have. How boring it must be to be an Arsenal Spurs or Everton fan. Seen most them men.
Let’s see how we fair against Bradford next Saturday. They’ve hit a little bit of form of late losing only 1 in 8 and beating Burton along the way. A win for Bradford will put them within 4 points of us or a win for us sends us 10 clear.

I didn’t quite word that one correctly. What I should have said was why now is he changing defensive formation. It’s a back four now where he normally puts out a 5 across the back with 3 centrals.
