Despite however much us darksiders might moan on here & grumble to each other on a match day & despite how much the lightsiders have a go at the darksiders to get behind the team/manager and start being “true supporters”. Despite that I can’t imagine any other club in the land in a similar situation where there would be so little open discontent towards the club
You only have to look at the Blackburn fans to see that large groups of them couldn’t wait for their team to go behind to start the chants & get out their banners. They may well have genuine gripes but I thought it was a bit sad on their partThat said, Bobby knows how to work a crowd with comments like those & the ones he gives in his fanzine interviews. Micky I’m afraid apart from the Bob can do no wrong numpties on this sight Iam yet to speak to a Tics mon who thinks he’s got a clue. We are a team in decline and have been for two and a half years and Bob has to take responsibility for that. For the first season every time we got beat he blamed Steve Bruce for his bad signings, but was happy to take the credit when we won. I don’t hear him admitting that we are struggling now because his signings have been naff, and if your honest he has signed some shite.

Mr Hindley, you are well known to the viewers of this forum for your views and opinions, however, I took exception to the “we the fans” part of your response. A more apt response could have read……..”what me and my mates, oh and a couple of blokes I’ve met in the pub think’ because as I said (and you know my views) you don’t speak in my name nor for the thousands of others who support him and the team……..I’ll not bore you with the blah blah…over the years….blah blah……..poor teams etc etc.
More importantly you, and with some others on here, seek to undermine the confidence of the supporters in what we are trying to do (that is getting behind the team and the manager – just like proper supporters) and in doing so want to transfer those feelings to the terraces which negatively impacts on the players, the manager and the owner.
Love ‘em or hate ‘em mate…..they’re our strugglers, our team and I for one will never let them down and will be shouting, cheering, encouraging and ‘supporting’ them through all of the times (good, bad or indifferent)…….……..as I have always done.
