Listen, I get behind my team and just because I don’t think RM is up to it doesn’t make me a moaning so and so. This is a forum and forums are for opining.Just because we are little Wigan, some on here are accepting our current status quo as if it is normal to have picked up 1pt from the last 9 games ! If AVB at Chelsea had put a little run like that together he would have been gone before you could say Jack Robinson ! Come to think of it most managers would have gone ! All i do is come on here and say enough is enough and that I am not happy as a fan with what I am seeing before me ! We cant keep bemoaning about bad luck and refs decisions. In my opinion this squad is worse than it was 5 years ago and I just don’t think that RM is the man for the job ! I like him as a person ( Not that I know him ) but he comes across as a very amiable bloke but he aint no Prem manager ! All this ” The Darkside want us to fail ” shit does my head in ! I want us to win, I want us to stay up and I certainly don’t want us to fail !
I shall await the usual replies, in fact I cant believe I have just gone to the trouble of trying to get my rightful point across ! I was referring to chairmen sacking managers and I went on to say most managers would have gone ! I gave AVB as an example because there is talk of him getting potted as we speak !!
I was meant to post this here but posted somewhere else by mistake ! So for what’s its worth ….
Oh and one more thing. Can you imagine what the fans of other clubs would say if their chairman stood up and said that he would not sack the manager come what may !! A run like we are on and a manager safe with his job whatever happens !! There would be a few more Blackburn type protests going on I can tell ya !! Why should we be any different ? I will tell you why, because there are plenty who think that we are not worthy and just accept it ! Even the chairman as sort of accepted the fact that we are on our way back from whence we came and nothing is going to change ! I don’t want to ever hear him moaning about stay away fans again after the gems he has come out with !

If you want something in this life you have to stand up and be heard ! I just happen to want a couple of changes in the club that in my opinion and the opinion of quite a few fans I know would stop the rot ! Why should we just lie down and accept things ! Even if we don’t get our way and fail I will still be here and I will be able to say ” I tried ” Clubs lurk on forums and Wigan Athletic is no different trust me ! No they wont take any notice of sole dissidents but if enough people voice their opinions dark or light they will not be taken likely !

A lot of the moaners about the team will also be the same people moaning about not being able to get a job, moaning that their job doesn’t cut it for them, not earning enough money etc etc.
Positivity gives your a positive outlook on live and things happen. If you walk around all day being negative each problem presented to you goes straight onto your shoulders and weighs you down, being positive allows you to shrug things off and keep going.
Wigan have a strange breed of fanbase, some are Ex-rugby and used to supporting a team always challenging for top honours, some are new fans (JCL) who only ever known Wigan Athletic as a winning / successful team and then there are the rest of us who have seen the bad times and are just glad we are now playing in the biggest league in the world.
For me if we do go down to the championship the worst thing that happens are 1) I will goto more away games 2) we win a few more games 3) we get to compete to get back up into the premier league.
When you look at it like that its easy to stay positive about things that go on, as being relegated will bring positive things.
People focus on the negative things too much!

very true and there are more important things in life then a Football team. what does my swede in on this board though is certain individuals who shout people down because they have a different opinion then them. last thing I want is the club to be relegated in my 30TH season watching them.I was delighted with the result on Saturday but I think the damage as been done already with the losing streak.I hope I’m wrong I really do.I found jrfatfans behaviour on here Saturday be be pathetic .He came on straight away when the full time whistle had blown throwing insults around left right and centre at people who have dared to even have a different opinion then him. He as the Gall to to say I’m 13 as well ha ha ha.
