Looks pretty bright I think with Moses, McCarthy, Hugo, Charlie etc. I feel very optimistic and I’m starting to buy into Roberto’s way. Apologies for the positivity oozing from this message. 8-)

I have to say, I was disappointed with the result at the weekend but really impressed with James McCarthy. With Hugh, Moses, McCarthy, Diame and N’Zogbia – the future is looking good.
Compare our signings to West Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaam’s.
Theirs are desperate signings. McCarthy, and it looks like Mido possibly, as well.
And then you look at our players. Roberto’s getting a decent squad together, make no mistake. Hungry players, not has-beens like McCarthy and Mido. Ok, I’d have accepted McCarthy if he’d come here, but I would imagine his wage demands to be excessive. I think Zola’s getting desperate. He brought some Italian forwards in who haven’t gelled, and this is nothing but him admitting it. But Mido? Christ, that is a desperate move. Someone compared him to Dev Alahan from Corrie, when he was here. But I think Dev Alahan would possibly give you more. He’s a waster, and thank god we haven’t been tempted.
I really expected the Moses thing to become like an Ebay auction. Different bids knocking the price up, and him going to somewhere like Arsenal. By all accounts, we’ve done well to get him. Well done Roberto!
I wouldn’t be surprised if we have another addition before 5pm.
