I’m with The Duke. That’s our best line-up and formation, and just as Bob came round to giving Scotland a run-out at the expense of Gomez, so I think he’ll eventually see the wisdom of playing a left-sided player on the left and Sinclair on the right.
Actually Gomez was dropped to accommodate Scharner. Scotland came in at Koumas’ expense.
When will people realise that Bob plays 4-5-1, and with this current line up he’s not doing too bad. Why , after beating CFC and nearly beating City would we want to radically change the formation.
We have 3 hard working centre mids , who will be a match for any Prem midfield , certainly in the workrate department. On Sunday I also thought Zog had his best game ever for us. Playing on the right allows him to keep cutting in on goal ,and generally providing support for Scotland. Stick him back on the left and he’ll be hogging the touchline and going nowhere.

Oh and finally , Scotland was awesome on Sunday.
Spot on analysis – some people just can’t seem to get their head around Bob’s style of play. I for one quite enjoy our new formation and don’t wish to return to hoofing it.
These same people probably want to drop Heskey from the England team as well even though we are the highest qualifying scorers ( I think) and have won nine out of ten.
I cant even beieve what i am reading. Scotland is NOT good enough.. He isnt as good as Heskey so people should stop trying to compare them. He hardly ran them ragged because he DIDNT RUN! He got the ball at his feet and did fuck all attacking wise. The one good turn he did was when their defender touched it so it fell to Scotland as he was turning. You cant start 1 striker if your going to play Scotland as he wont score, that is a lot of the reason we Didn’t beat City, Probably Hull aswell, We need 4-4-2 or the formation we are using now needs Rodallega in place of scotland, But whichever we use, it should not involve Scotland

Yeah right ………….. perhaps you should attend training sessions to sort Bob out
Thank you owd_C*nt … least someone agrees.. But seriousy… Scotland isnt good enough
scotland needs a chance so get off his back and support him i am not saying he his a world beater but he needs time to climatize to the prem. Lescott 20mill was shit scared of scotland and so was the other mong at the back and if a mon can rough up defenders and create space and cause 2 defenders to close him down hes in the team ever week for me and i will say it again he stays on his FEET.I know lets drop scotland and put the other option in king get real :!:
I’m with hit4fiftyseven here, scotland isn’t a premier league standard player. If Bobby insists on playing him then we need someone along side him. Because he’ll never ever score as a lone striker. We need Hugo to feed off him as otherwise we won’t score many, if any from open play. Scotland is poor and wouldn’t make it into Hull’s team. I’d even go as far as saying I’d prefer Caleb Folan, and that isn’t a joke.
