Yeah , fair enough i can see your point, but one of the problems in the past with him dropping matchday prices and doing too many deals is that he has lost season ticket sales the following year.
When we had deals against Fulham there was higher than average attendance but the game was dour and i think people who came for that game would begrudge paying even the lower prices to watch the kind of football being played.
I’ve been a ST holder for 15 years now and I wake up on a Saturday morning wanting any excuse not to go as I’m usually bored sh*tless by 3.05pm. Obviously I do go and will continue to do so, but it’s more out of blind faith than anything else.
Nobody is going to turn up once with the cheap tickets and want to pay full price for some of the sh*te we’re being served up.
You get bored five minutes into a game? You really must have an attention span disorder Egg.
Have you not been bored in previous seasons watching aerial tennis?

The main aim of a football match is to win it.
No one really cares how you get there it’s all about the result, ask Birmingham who won the Carling Cup.
Throw into the mix the fact that it’s like watching paint dry no wonder our crowds are a disgrace. But hey he’s doing a great job.

And there’s me, thinking being a fan is all about supporting your club through thick and thin. Yes, you can rant about the management, the players and the administration but you still go to watch.
Unless you are trying to use all the above as an excuse for not putting your hand in your pocket to watch the team you purport to support at one of the cheapest football grounds in the land.
Too much damage done by Mr Martinez..Cheap tickets dont create a loyal fanbase..Good honest football and winning more than five games in a season may go a long way to putting bums on seats..

If that’s the case how come we struggled to get 16000 when we had Palacios, Valencia etc. in a team close to qualifying for Europe? It’s all to do with Wiganers being a bunch of whining, whinging, skinflint miseries.
