24 August 2009 at 1:48 am #6295“Lets talk about Rugby to avoid our own problems”.
Why are your crowds so WAFC? Simple. Hardly anyone gives a toss about the Latics, and those that do are rapidly waking up and smelling the coffee.
You may survive in the Premiership – actually as a Wiganer I really hope you do, but you will never flourish. The best you can hope for is mid-table obscurity, and that is never going to have the crowds flocking in. You sell players at a profit, which may seem good business but it stinks of a lack of ambition. Take Cattermole for example – he signed for a club who finished below you last season, and have not finished higher than you since both clubs were promoted in 2004/05, yet they ooze ambition.
Next up at home – West Ham, then Chelsea & Man City. Thank goodness they all have a big away following to keep the crowd level above 15K, however come 7 November, unless uncle Dave comes up with 5000 freebies, we could be looking at a sub-11K attendance when Fulham roll into town.
24 August 2009 at 1:55 am #6296Your crowds are pathetic write’s mutty
and end’s with We could be looking at sub 11k crowds
you couldn’t make it up
24 August 2009 at 1:57 am #6297take no notice of this clown tightarse is just 1 of the village idiots and obese people of lancashire who make up 60% of wurriors fans
24 August 2009 at 2:01 am #6298Yep i’d hazzard a guess he’s a tics fan ont wind up
24 August 2009 at 2:22 am #6299Tightarse, mutty, question when did you both start supporting the rugby what season? my guess is the both of you started following the rugby some time after Wigan were the world champs.
If that is so that would make you both JCL glory hunters, or in my book, fickle. You both have the nerve to come on here and have a pop at fans that have followed the latics up through the divisions.
As supporters go you are not fit to tie our shoe laces! So come on when did you both start following the rugby?
Before you ask my first Latics game was Coventry away 91.
24 August 2009 at 2:27 am #6300Widnes Home 1986….Therefore looks like I win 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
Then again you couldnt have watched the tics then could you as did they even exist!??!
24 August 2009 at 2:30 am #6301So you started to follow them the season after they won the challenge cup! GLORY HUNTER pathetic!
24 August 2009 at 2:35 am #6302So you started to follow them the season after they won the challenge cup! GLORY HUNTER pathetic!Yeah clearly a glory hunter given I was three at the time   I started watching them because thats what everyone did in wigan, you know with it being a Rugby Town! ;)
24 August 2009 at 2:45 am #6303So going back to what I was saying, you started going by your own choice after wigan were the world champs.
Would you of bothered if they were a 2nd tire team? Come on now honest answer.
because it’s before your time but the rugby could not attract an average of 4000 when they were in the second tire!

And your point is exactly!?!? L@tics couldnt get a crowd of over 1500 10 years ago when you were in division 3 and when your back there in another 10 years it will be exactly the same!!
24 August 2009 at 3:14 am #6306I now know why you call yourself tightarse, that’s the bit of your body you talk out of!
Think you will find that when we were in the bottom tire of the football league ( that being the 4th tire of the English league) our average attendance was greater than when your team were in the second tire of RL ( for comparison the season both teams were promoted).
Rugby town my arse
RL glory hunters av s**t um!
24 August 2009 at 3:23 am #6307Why as this thread been put on the non football stuff?
24 August 2009 at 12:54 pm #6324So one of you first went to watch Warriors in 80 and the other in 1986? That must mean both of you over 30, or at least closing in on 30. Christ, I hope neither of you are capable of breeding because it seems you’ve both got the mental age of 13 year olds.
