It’s not often I stick up for anything to do with Wigan but this is ridiculous.
You can’t blame the likes of Conroy, Jukesays for walking away. I can only go off what I have read on this forum and what I have seen at matches, but it sounds like the group was created with the best of intentions and the lads mentioned above put in a lot of time and effort to get things going. And 2011 saw the best vocal support from Wigan fans I have ever witnessed, things were obviously working.
Things then undeniably took a turn for the worse and the group, for whatever reason, attracted a lot of young, uneducated numpties who think they are Galatasaray fans all of a sudden. I don’t blame anyone for walking away at that stage and distancing themselves from what it is turning into a dangerous, mindless gang of cretins.

Didn’t know you was a brigantie , the egg?
I was part of the original group that started things and I still put the flags up at the top of the South Stand but that’s it now. I only do that really because there’s nobody else to do it.
It was a tenner at Huddersfield for a tie that Wigan hadnt been involved in since 1987. Yet 16000 of your average crowd couldnt be arsed to make that trip. That is very disappointing.
6000 at Everton if they make it to round 6 please – absolutely no excuses will be tolerated.
It’s more the facilities that people are complaining about. Would you have paid £19 at Macc for example? Saying that, the toilet facilities were better at Macc than the dug out hole you p*ss in at Castleford.

The database only makes it hard to get tickets if you’re not a Latics fan ;)
Local lads representing their town. Never catch on eh?
As opposed to a bunch of Africans & South Americans who had never heard of Wigan until their Dodgy Agent waved a few quid in their direction. Mind you, not many of them stick around do they?

To name but a few who fecked off at the first opportunity.
Whats it like to have a team full of people who would never have come near Wigan if there had been another option?[/quote]
ANOTHER racist tweet from a deluded, racist, old fashioned bitter rugger bugger yorky league village idiot……………she posts the same drivel on wigantoday & wigan world…….no foreign players are allowed in wigan, paying hundreds of thousands of ££ in taxes and N.I….making the town wealthier and bringing WORLDWIDE coverage to our small pokie town that hardly any had heard of before WAFC brought our town to the attention of the worlds population…..
Playing in a multi-cultural worldwide game, the option of attracting players from all over the globe is a joy to have….
when souper league has a pool of players outside 2 counties in england and 2 states in oz, then you can comment on the matter lotp….
She’s posted something very similar to this last season………at around the same time of the season too…..must be getting jealous that NOBODY is talking about RL on the day of their BIGGEST, BESTEST “world” club cup village game IRONICALLY IN YORKSHIRE
goodbye RL , make sure to pay your rent on your way to orrell…………….20k on sunday please…..i’ll be keeping tabs on you xxxxxxxxxxxx
And just think lotp…..just ONE of those players you mentioned above…..cost more than your entire club.
