I cant believe Fergie risked Rooney ! What does that tell ya !! And to say that the Bayern players got the kid sent off, utter poppy cock ! Oh and another blatant cheat by the very much changed player Valencia ! Schweinsteiger was livid and rightfully so !
I hate that club with a passion i really do.
Its the whole thing those irritating poncified yellow and green scarves against what exactly and their happy clappy corporate fans? The club has been a blatant capitalist regime for years and years in my view more so when Edwards had it but now its a problem when an American constructs a business deal that makes him and his family as much money as possible(it happens elsewhere IN FOOTBALL doesnt it?).
That horrible red faced sh/t with his complaints when not enough time is added (when they are losing) and too much(when they are winning) and the whole irritating media thing that they are some sort of unofficial national team that we should all applaud.
He started this ridiculous time keeping system that we see today with his feckin stop watch all those years ago and i hate the blatant gamesmanship that is displayed from his players and himself every time they play.
I hope for footballs sake they dont win the league and i hope Glazer bleeds them dry to send them back to obscurity.
IT CANT COME SOON ENOUGH!
It tells you that he wants to fo ok up Fabios plans
Rooney’s obviously been working hard to get fit and Firgie knows without Rooney on the pitch they can’t score many goals. I didn’t watch the game last night as I was at Wigan Reserves but am I right in saying as soon as Rooney went off the German’s came out of there bunkers and were the better team ?
Its been a long, long, long, long time since Manchester United were an “obscure” side
That said (& I didn’t see any of the game) I had to laugh when I heard Fergies comments that the Bayern players got Rafael sent off by surrounding the ref & that was typically German. I hope he was being ironic with that comment!!

No, you’re not right Sephton, to be honest.
The Germans were shyte and were a well beaten side until the United right-back stupidly got himself sent off. ~The best team went out, and it’s a shame there is now no English club left in, despite the fact that Barcelona will walk it anyway.
As for some of the other posts on this thread, what right do Wigan fans – comfortably the worst in the world – have to criticise United fans for trying to do right by their club?
Buying a green and yellow scarf poncey? Maybe so, but it beats hands-down continually doing nothing more constructive that calling our own blood-sucking chairman* a “tight c***” on teenage forums
Well said Griff. Raffael was entirely to blame for Utd’s exit and was having a good game up to then. Also think a senior player like Carrick who performed poorly allowing the first goal and missing a sitter should also take some blame.
United were a 2 trick pony and are now down to one trick.
TBH I think we have more important things to worry about than Utd’s Euro exit.
“TBH I think we have more important things to worry about than Utd’s Euro exit”
Hugh , this thread was started as some light relief for all the Utd haters like myself to air how happy we are to see the whinging and moaning Fergie crestfallen. I also think that Bayen were poor for the first 40mins but had actually woken up when they got a goal back. The game was still in the balance for Utd albeit looking comfortable containing the German outfit up untill the kid walking, but hey football is a funny game and you never know what is going to happen. The suburbs of Wigan and the surrounding area will be sulking today but hey get yourselves a ticket for next Wed and get behind the lads at the DW Stadium instead of standing in a pub watching Utd with a fcukin yellow and green scarf on when you have probably never been to Salford let alone Old Trafford !

That may get few replys from our famous Wigan Reds
I was quite pleased as an England fan, and for the record I don’t mind Man Utd and I have been to OT many times. Most recently to watch our 0-5 defeat and to watch Beckham’s magnificent strike against Greece. I don’t need a ticket for next week v Pompey as I’m a season ticket holder and have been for a number of years , so there.
*I hate hate green and yellow as well because it reminds me of the Aussies.

If the truth be known I wasn’t referring to you as the proverbial ” Plastic Manc ” Hugh !
