What a journey!lots of endeavour and effort but it boils down to the same thing – the team isn’t good enough for this level and hasn’t enough quality or character to turn this around.

For the record, tonight I slagged Malky off for bringing a midfielder on when losing, but he is far from the anti-christ.
I agree that Malky is far from the anti-Christ and the situation he is in as been dire with the massive changes put on him by the board but some of the day to day stuff does rest on his shoulders. It was right to bring Clarke back even though he was crap and also probably right to stick with Barn Door Fortune due too his work rate and for consistency but Fortunes goal scoring record is just not good enough.
What isn’t needed is the amount of loan players.
If we want to play youngsters please ffs play our own. They seem to have disappeared off the bench now.
A change for Saturday. McClean back for Ojo. Kvist in for Perch and Perch back at right back for Boycey. Maybe it is time to drop Fortune for Mckay or Waghorn.This is why he’s thick.

Only for a late lunge by Boyce it would have been 1-0 and the main difference between the two teams was the pace and strength of Watfords attacking players.

This season is just one of those seasons that clubs (mainly the size of ours) goes through from time to time. Yet i know of bigger clubs who have suffered the same fate. I’ll correct you because you are wrong and you don’t go to games for whatever reason. There are rarely choruses if boos, the players are trying. No shouts for the managers head, when there should be either.
Fact is a manager who says we should be scoring then doesn’t play strikers who can score is as thick as pig shit.
So you can begin to suspect what you want.

Turns out he was spot on then wasn’t he.
