A lot of great memories have come flooding back over the summer thanks to latics stalwart Andy Vaughan.
I am in the middle of reading his excellent book again from a few years back, ‘Punk football’ which chronicles his life as a ‘Punk Rocker’ whist watching the Latics as a youngster.
I can’t believe how Wigan was so big in the music scene of that era, all the mega stars of the day played at various venues throughout Wigan.

Celebrations all round if we were actually shown on TV.
