If the club/ business owed £25 million why if they had assets were assets not sold prior to going into administration.
Even after admin why again are assets not sold to pay of debt.
They could have gone one better than in the eighties when an end was sold to Normid to help with financial problems. Demolish both ends this time and have an Aldi end and a Lidl end.
      Funny how with Bolton they forever repeat history. Sell an end to sort them out. Sell Burden to help them out. Former owner virtually wrote £100 million off to sort them out, sell office space to help them out and sell Euxton to help them out yet they still think they’re a big club. FV’s now borrowing money from the PFA to sort them out. Get Lostock sold and pay some debt off you scandalous club!!!;

The streets of Bolton are paved with magic beans so repayment of the loan won’t be a problem.

If Bolton had a fan base the size of Bury, Halifax or Chester then they would have been kicked out by now. But, a new team called FC Wanderers of Bolton would be too big for the non league infrastructure to safely handle so it can’t happen. It aint fair play but when did that stop the football authorities?

If the EFL did their job in the first place this would never happen.

Having worked for them up until March, I can tell you the whole place reeks of sheer arrogance. They talk and act like they are still a solvent Premier League club, yet they haven’t got a pot to piss in. Having had all areas access to the club and stadium, I know exactly what it is like. The boardroom and chairmans suite are rather bare…the suite has a couple of couches and a table in between, the furniture looks cheap. There are no TV screens etc in there. The boardroom has a pretty Ikea-esque table and chairs in it. In fact, as I walked around that stadium, I realised there was really nothing of great value or cost, anywhere. The suites and catering areas..all the equipment was on hire by Heathcotes, who were unceremoniously dumped from their contract by the Administrators, it remains to be seen if Paul Heathcote takes legal action over it.
But you get the picture. To hear them talk, they think they are still some big club who the rest of football should look up to and respect. They really do. As a club they really are all ‘fur coat and no knickers’, so to speak.

The amount of assistance and help off the PFA and football authorities is a disgrace. Bolton Wanderers FC are in no position to start the new season. No players, no season tickets sold, no new kit…etc etc. Just close the bloody place down. Sick to death of it all, all the ifs, buts, and maybes. They shouldve had a strict deadline of the end of June to have their affairs in order, not being three days off the new season and still uncertain.

They always appear to be on the verge of coming up smelling of roses as well, on the back of the latest help theyve received. Theyve had this news about the PFA loaning them 2 millon yesterday…by last night they were talking of signing Ched Evans, etc. Just a disgrace its happening how it is.
And this extra points deduction for not fulfilling last seasons games should NOT be allowed to be forgotten about. No chance. I think we, and other clubs supporters, should ensure this isnt forgotten about, as potentially it could’ve cost us dearly.

Disgrace, the amount of chances and help they are getting, they are basically the Nick Cotton of football. Shithouse club.

I just looked at Bolton’s website and looked at their squad, unbelievable and according to the bbc on senior 3 outfield players have travelled.

Hope the cheating scumbags get hammered and those three get injured. Bloody ridiculous the favouritism and bias the football authorities and EFL have shown this shower.

                Couldnt agree more.

But its scandalous they are going to start the season.
What if Wycombe smash them 7 nil, and then end up challenging at the top of the league? Then later on when Bolton have git a better team together, they play a team competing with Wycombe at the top and beat them? And those 7 goals, if that happened, could be detrimental to other teams fortunes, with goal difference. It potentially damages the whole integrity of this years league one.

Shambles. Shouldve been stopped from happening. Any other club continuously saying “takeover happening next week” repeatedly like they have, would’ve been come down on like a ton of bricks. Why haven’t Bolton?

                Ridiculous.

Totally agaree. However, on a selfish point of view, I am hoping for a 7-0 win for WWFC as I’ve got a bet on it with odds of 200/1

Another thing, it seems that a sticking point is that the proposed new owners want to pay the outstanding wages in installments. For christ sake that should tell the EFL all they need to know.
