£150 isnt much to say “I was there the day Wigan won the cup”.
It is on top of £100 from the semi final.
So are you going to sit at home and watch it on TV then Egg? Imagine how sick you or anyone else would feel if Wigan won it and you weren’t there.
As you no doubt noticed, the names of the FA Cup winners are round the stadium, and there are not that many.
I noticed that… can’t believe that in all the areas I could sit in the ground I ended up right underneath the Bolton Wanderers one….
A lot of genuine fans or regulars could and will miss out .. if you think that each season ticket holder decides they are taking the wife or girfriend and they dont normally go then that potentially leaves about 7 or 8,000 fans to fight for 4,000 tickets if we ask for 25 k ..
just a thought …
Thats called rewarding fans who put their hard earned cash upfront at the beginning of the season as apposed to “pick your games” fans which seems to be the way most folk do it nowdays.
We couldn’t pick out seats just what block, I went for upper level singing section and ended up right next to the neutral section and I thought the atmosphere was crap
pot luck if you order online , I was in 512, next to back row , pretty good atmosphere but quite a distance from pitch , would settle for same again this time , for £115 id want to be sat next to Bobby! :)
Should be one ticket per applicant, and then at a later date when all demand has been satisfied, tickets can go on general sale
If you allow all s/t holders 2 tickets, they’ll buy them and friends and family will go, and there’ll also be a secondary market for tickets as some get re-sold.
Season ticket holders paid money up front not ever expecting that we would get to a Wembley final.
Over the years there have been all sorts of offers for non-ST holders, that they didn’t get.
I think it’s correct that ST holders get a good deal this time.
So are you saying someone who never goes near a WAFC match but happens to be married or friends with a season ticket holder is more entitled to a Wembley ticket than a life long fan who can only afford a few games a season or fans living in different parts of the country who only manage a few games every season ?

It isn’t a question of what someone is “entitled” to it’s purely down to what is practical. By limiting season ticket holders to one ticket each you run a very real risk of not selling out your allocation.
Just to repeat what has already been said many times, I’m quite sure any Latics “supporter” who wants a ticket will get one.

I’ve had loads of people asking me to get them a ticket on my ST allowances.
These are people who have NEVER been to a League game, some went the Semi, but I’ve said no to all of them. Because I don’t want to do any genuine fans who havent got ST’s out of a ticket.
Let these hanger ons go and queue when they go on general sale.
