I’ve digested this Ruben thing, and thought about it.
If it’s right that they were wanting to put add-on’s on to the deal, that would have taken it up to a potential 8 million, after a fee of between 5 and 7 million had been agreed, then I am GLAD we pulled out of the deal.
Villareal seemed very eager to sell such a ‘quality’ player, don’t you think?
I was very keen on him, but we can’t have the club messed about like that.
