laughing stock of the premier league now….but not for much longer eh Roberto. :(
29 October 2011 at 8:51 pm #72794can only hope, if he loves the club he will resign,Think he as lost the dressing room, and the only reason he brought di santo on was because rodney had a go at him  and why does he not change his tactics when using subs  please resign roberto.
29 October 2011 at 8:57 pm #72796“The stats tell the story. I’m not disappointed with the performance but with our run, the result becomes even more important.
“It is not time to feel sorry for ourselves. It’s time to try to improve ourselves, try to change the negative dynamic that’s affecting us at the moment.
“I felt we were going to be the next team to score but we were punished while chasing the game.
“Once we get our first positive result, everything will change.”
Yep, he has convinced me everything will be fine.

29 October 2011 at 9:27 pm #72804Mark Hughes will do for me !Nerys Hughes could do no worse!!!
29 October 2011 at 9:57 pm #72810Today was poor, and the defeat had a sad air of inevitability about it, I must admit that we are pretty poor. But the performance wasn’t as bad as others I’ve seen this season.
We just didn’t take our chances, had a lack of movement up front and were caught out at the back when it mattered. We didn’t score when we were on top and paid the price, fair play to Fulham, it was a great smash and grab performance from them.
I for one don’t want Martinez to go. Even Mourinho couldn’t get that bunch of sh1te to yield some credible results.
29 October 2011 at 10:01 pm #72811Duke the shoite you talk about were 90% signed by Bob. Caldwell is the worst player at the club and our manager gives him the captains arm band. He is absolutely useless and the sooner he fook’s off the better our club will be.
29 October 2011 at 10:04 pm #72813This is true, I can’t deny that this average bunch were mainly signed by Bob. But sacking him now won’t solve the problem, will it? Appointing a new manager won’t suddenly makes these players any better.
Secondly, with the lack of funds Martinez has to spend, it’s no wonder the players he’s signed aren’t brilliant.
29 October 2011 at 10:05 pm #72814Wait till he sells Moses in January !!
29 October 2011 at 10:09 pm #72816We can’t keep making excuses for him, I have been a Martinez supporter since he ame back to us, but enough is enough, this can’t go on. It is getting embarrassing, he has to go.
MARTINEZ OUT
29 October 2011 at 10:14 pm #72822I see your point Horc but seriously, who is this miracle manager that everyone thinks will succeed Bob and what will he do to make this squad of talentless bafoons get some points on the board?
Face it, Whelan won’t sack Martinez never mind how much you want him to.
29 October 2011 at 10:20 pm #72827Sorry Duke but that is were I believe your wrong. With a half decent manager in charge we have enough at this club to stay up.

every manager we have had, has suffered from lack of funds, but that doesn’t explain the 50 passes across the back while the opposition regroup and get back to defend – stop making excuses for martinez on finances alone as everyone of his detractors have been saying for close on 3 years -this man is a feeble excuse for a coach / manager – and i am afraid that is the bottom line
29 October 2011 at 10:24 pm #72831Fair point LMB, but Martinez has twice succeeded in keeping us up, and both times we went through bleak phases like the one we’re currently in, what’s to say he can’t do it again?
As for the backwards and sideways passing, at times it seems tedious and unnecessary, but that’s only due to the lack of options up front. The player on the ball simply has little choice but to play it backwards/sideways to keep possession. Would you prefer to keep posession or just hoof it forwards and lose it?
29 October 2011 at 10:27 pm #72833Anyone attempting to talk sense to The Duke is wasting their time because it is quite obvious he is deluded ! Sorry mate but you are !!
