I’ve been fishing on Upper Rivington today for pike and suffered a blank. (IE no fish caught).
It was very nice sitting there in the countryside listening to the birds singing their lovey songs. There were insects flying as well so it must have been warm. I was very warm as I was wearing extremely warm clothes and had some chicken soup in a flask to warm me up.Brandy in my coffee warmed my tummy.
Glad it didn’t rain as my brolley is broken.

Vitamin B1 or B12, cant remember which, but it works within a day and keeps insects away and stops you being bitten. Something in the vitamin when taken puts a low level smell the insects dont like.
