I don’t understand the Bogle situation, as I can’t see a lot of difference between Toney and Bogle apart from Toney tending to stay on side, so Bogle would probably get a match if Toney wasn’t here.

I think Power has shot himself in the foot. Evans looks far superior to Max, and for me, Power isn’t good enough to displace any of our League One midfielders let alone walk into a Championship midfield.[/quote]

I don’t think you can even mention Bogle and Toney in the same sentence. Toney’s by far the better player.

Wins more headers than he loses, hold the ball up well, looks quick, works hard: all things Bogle didn’t do.

Reminded me of Heskey the way he nodded the ball on for the first goal and the ease he seems to have in holding it up.

Was highly impressed with Lee Evans yesterday. Strong, comfortable on the ball and did the simple things well. Excellent cross for Powell’s headed goal, ran the show in midfield and for all the effort Jacobs put he in was easily my MOM. Unstoppable strike at the end.

Early days yet but the signs are very encouraging.
