I’m going to leave myself open to be shot down but who gives a toss , that was crap today , at times some good play but the majority of the game awful i’m glad i walked out cause the South Africa v Japan game was bloody fantastic if only we had half their spirit we’d be laughing .Not impressed with Caldwell i don’t know why, but if Rosler was back he’d get a lot more out of the players.Were 7th in the league but somethings missing any ideas ?

We didn’t have our 1st choice 2 up front available, the young lad up there worked hard but he’s no Grigg or Davies yet. Still missing Junior, who would be my choice when fit over Power.
We didn’t come out of 2nd gear all afternoon, plus points Jacobs, Wigan lad Flores and some proper defending by Daniels.
7th in the league without looking anything like a top team yet.Can’t wait to see what we’ll do with a full first choice, gelled team on a regular basis if were 7th now.
So after a season where we hardly won a game, with 21 new players currently bedding in we find ourselves 7th in the league with an unbeaten home record having conceded a single goal. Bloody rubbish Caldwell.
Bigroy so you were happy with that today and all the other games the only game we have played well in this season was Scunthorpe thats what were capable of so why the change in tactics and cautious approach , yes were 7th but the big teams would say thankyou for the 3 points.
I agree we where not at the races and Fleetwood are up there being one of the worst sides I have seen at the Dw and I am not impressed with perkins can’t tackle and won’t try to tackle one point of the game he turned his back on Fleetwood coming forward
Despite playing shyte so far this season we are five points off the top not bad and I would have took that at the begining of the season after the mass change in ranks and missing two main strikers
My take on today is that we achieved a scruffy win against a team that had a real go in the second half.
defended well and put in 150% which is all you can ask for and I agree what will we achieve once the team finds it feet?
Superb goal from wigan lad Flores and he was my man and of the match for that goal and assist alone.
One little moan all those fookin part time supporters queuing at the cash turnstiles because we have picked up a bit recently -tossers!!!……. I am not impressed with perkins can’t tackle and won’t try to tackle ……..I’d wager that there’s not many who share that view mate.

If that performance was in March I may be more critical (though 3 points is generally the aim). As entertainment the fayre on offer is of a higher standard than that which we have had to suffer in recent seasons. Having watched us suffer in the bottom 4 of leagues for 75% of the last ten years it’s certainly nice to finally go into games knowing a win is more possible.
Blimey, I feel very fortunate because I think I spent my afternoon at a completely different game from the one you were at.
The guys I watched played some great interplay, some smashing link ups, some beautiful passing and some stunning passes down the line into space for people to run on to. in the game i watched there was some good accurate passing and from a few some tireless running, tackling and winning back the ball when it was lost. Some good defensive blocks.
To add to it all there were 2 good goals, the sun was out, the crowd in pretty good form and some rubbish reffing. I thought refs were meant to wear 2 watches in case 1 stopped. Where 6 minutes came from only the match fixers know.
All in all 3 good points and a nice day out even if FTFC did up the pressure in the second half.

One little moan all those fookin part time supporters queuing at the cash turnstiles because we have picked up a bit recently -tossers!!!So a bloke who recently lost his job and couldn’t afford a season ticket or a family person who works with rent/ mortgage to pay who financialy struggles with all the other bills or someone with other interests as well as football decides they all want to pay on the day are tossers. Where is the logic there. Two or three hundred in one throw can and is a lot of money for some. Remember to that all those tossers are paying a premium to support Latics that way by paying nearly double for a match. May be there seemed more due to lack of pay turnstiles open. Buying a season ticket or an online ticket doesn’t make you a bigger fans than the others.
