Thanks Vince
Always nice to have support from a fellow fan.
Maybe us pay on the day fans do it that way because we can’t guarantee that we can go to the match so instead of paying for a ticket in advance and not using it we pay cash and has nothing to do with the up turn in form.
20 September 2015 at 3:59 pm #144833HarshWe didn’t have our 1st choice 2 up front available, the young lad up there worked hard but he’s no Grigg or Davies yet. Still missing Junior, who would be my choice when fit over Power.
We didn’t come out of 2nd gear all afternoon, plus points Jacobs, Wigan lad Flores and some proper defending by Daniels.
7th in the league without looking anything like a top team yet. Can’t wait to see what we’ll do with a full first choice, gelled team on a regular basis if were 7th now.
Yes, i too agree with that statement. It was only my 2nd game yesterday, but i remain optimistic for the rest of the season.
We were coasting after the 2nd goal & comfortable. When they scored it rocked us a bit & gave them the impetus & confidence to try for a 2nd. That is an area we need to improve on, but we are only 8 games in & are 7th.
If we can be there or thereabouts by xmas i can see this TEAM once gelled, to push onto ‘good’ things this season. The reason i capitalise the word team, is not since the days of bullard, mcculloch, roberts et al, have i seen a team spirit amongst a wigan team. Looking forward to my next game .v. millwall.20 September 2015 at 4:39 pm #144834One little moan all those fookin part time supporters queuing at the cash turnstiles because we have picked up a bit recently -tossers!!!What an empty headed statement that is. A lot of people can’t commit to going to every match so don’t pay up front like some.
By paying on the day, they actually put more money per match into to the club than season ticket holders do.
I am just glad the club has decided to have pay on the day turnstiles as I think it encourages floating fans to come along.
The more of these fans we can start to attract the better in my view.
Well done WAFC, and well done to pay on the day fans, bring a mate along as well next time.20 September 2015 at 4:45 pm #144835I agree we where not at the races and Fleetwood are up there being one of the worst sides I have seen at the Dw and I am not impressed with perkins can’t tackle and won’t try to tackle one point of the game he turned his back on Fleetwood coming forwardAre you confusing Perkins with another player?
In my opinion, he’s the by far the best signing we made over the summer.
20 September 2015 at 6:33 pm #144838Must be me but he didn’t make one tackle and when he did he gave the freekick away leading up to the goal he’s a great pointer though
20 September 2015 at 7:22 pm #144839Must be me but he didn’t make one tackle and when he did he gave the freekick away leading up to the goal he’s a great pointer thoughYour definitely getting him mixed up with somebody else, the guy is relentless in his quest to battle for midfield control.
I wish we had another 2-3 Perkins in midfield. To single out that free kick you have obviously got it in for him.
What about the defenders and the unbelievable deflection that gave it to their lad on a plate.
The only small negative is that he tends to tire in the latter stages of the game, however, by that time he has already done his bit for the cause.
A great, great signing and complements the young guns of ours who can chase crisp packets for 90 mins. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!20 September 2015 at 7:32 pm #144840He can chase all he wants but he also needs to tackle which he doesn’t. Has a Blackpool fan said to me at work he will run all day but don’t expect much more which is proving to be right

I’ve just watched extended highlights of the game and he tackles and passes like a good un. have a butchers, there’s only 11 mins out of 90 but the evidence is there.

What a journey!20 September 2015 at 11:05 pm #144845you my friend are watching Max Power, not Perkins.
20 September 2015 at 11:31 pm #144846No its perkins power is another issue he is like the invisible man. It’s just my opinion I don’t see anything in perkins only that he runs around like a mad man
21 September 2015 at 2:24 am #144852Would rather have Perkins power are anyone else in midfield than cowie the longer he is out the better
21 September 2015 at 10:20 am #144853As soon as Cowie is fit he will be sold along with Grant Holt, stupid bloody window allowing. McCann and Barnet with them.
