No room for off games next season.
There will be plenty off games next season I guarantee you that. Not sure we had an off day as people put it roughly translated as we don’t win.
Thought Rotherham played really well with pace and aggression helped by the ref failing to know which way a foul was.
However give us credit we stuck at it and came away with a hard earned point. Dunks mom for me.
Could have still won it good chances for Grigg Jacobs and Vaughn which go in on another day.

I don’t think we were helped with the paras jumping into the stadium.
The timing was cocked up, the players came out, shook hands, ran to warm up….then were shepherded off the pitch again to let the 3 paras land safely. They then had a wait of about 5 minutes until all that was done, before we could kick off.
We then started very sluggish, and almost conceeded about 3 times in the first ten minutes. I’m all for supporting the armed forces and all that, but I’d rather the club cut out these fancy ideas and just concentrate on the football and winning games. It’s not the players or coaching staffs fault, but the delay didn’t help us one bit, and it could’ve lost us that game today. Rotherham worked very hard, and we weren’t clever enough to break them down.
But, we didn’t lose, we gained a point, and Blackburn dropped 2 with that late goal. Win on Tuesday and today’s point will be a big one. Having an off day but not losing…not so bad.

Not condescending at all. There’s a time and a place. If I want to see parachutists like that, I’ll go to a military or air show. I go to the DW to watch Latics, and hopefully watch us win. The delay disrupted us, and we started sluggish, almost conceeding straight away.
I wasn’t blaming the actual Paras you buffoon, I blame the club for planning it. Let’s actually achieve what we want to achieve, before we start turning the stadium into a fucking carnival. We are here to win football games, so I don’t give a shit about anything else. If you don’t like that, tough.

Debate among us at half time as to who isn’t good enough for the championship and other problems. Elder isn’t good enough and will be gone, Power, Massey, Colclough, debatable Jacobs. And Walton will be gone, so another keeper needed. Roberts, hunt too old. It’s going to be a busy summer for us transfer wise, or we will be straight back down again.
So the club shouldn’t support the armed forces or anyone else because it’s all about football? Don’t talk fucking stupid.

Millers have been up there round and about all season. They are a decent side. We got a point. Move on to Tuesday in search of three points and closer to The Championship.

The club rightly supported the troops which, just like other charities, they are entitled to do. I’m pretty sure they were meant to land at 2.55 but it went pear shaped. The only one at fault was the ref for bringing the players out to kick off when they couldn’t.
As others have said though it didn’t seem to affect Rotherham so not sure what your problem is.

Do you complain when they have injured troops or disabled kids bring the ball on which delays the kick off slightly as well?

Yes, if had to take place, it should have been on time or earlier, but you can’t just chuck three men out of a plane at 3000ft willy nilly without the conditions being right. Something must have been not quite right for it to be delayed.
