Its funny how we all see the game differently, thought they got out the blocks quicker and could have scored early on but didn’t. The game got scrappy and we coped well. The first half was one that both teams would have been happy going in level. They huffed and puffed without doing much we looked the better team in possession and the sending off finished the game. I saw nothing in Brentford that I didn’t see in Shelf Wed or Notts Forrest. Things didn’t go our way and we got nowt. If anyone wants to bet me that Brentford will finish above us I’ll take it. Powell had a poor game and still looked the best player on display.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!16 September 2018 at 4:04 am #171801I thought reece was probably best outfield player today. Robinson did look tired and was struggling to get back.Let’s hope you’re right about the six points this week Garswood. We seem to be better at home so every chance.
Maybe the reason Cooky played the weakened side today. May want to concentrate on the six home points.
16 September 2018 at 4:15 am #171802No thought the team and formation was good enough to win today. There are not many games we’ve deserved to lose this season including villa away.
I’m happy with our performances but not happy with our points total. The form team league table had us on top and rightly so.From Matlock to ManU

Don’t know you from Adam but let’s go with £20. There are plenty on here that do know me and will confirm I’m a man of my word. This is well and truly bookmarked.

With his obsession with attendances you would have thought he would have jumped at the chance to have a go at the GTG comp.
PS I haven’t had a prediction from you yet Jr.
16 September 2018 at 4:26 pm #171807Don’t fancy your chances here JR. Look a good side Brentford.

16 September 2018 at 4:50 pm #171810Just goes to show how wide open and winnable this league is…..weve played 7 and lost 3 of those and still sit only 5 pts off top spot.I agree that I’m pleased with most of our performances but pts total should be better. Hull,Bristol will be no easier and i hope our early season goal glut returns …1 goal in last 3 with struggles against Qpr and Rotherham.
16 September 2018 at 5:04 pm #171812All those last three played without Massey and Cracker with a defensive minded player playing on the right.
16 September 2018 at 5:22 pm #171813And we have already been to Villa Brentford Stoke all fancied to be up there. We are going well and we will get better. I have no worries and fears about the Championship. We have a good manager good players and we play well. We won’t win every game but we won’t lose them all either. Mid table is more than achievable.
16 September 2018 at 7:26 pm #171817Just got back home.Morsy’s challenge was a clear red, he led with his arm. Yes, the Brentford lad had been niggling all game, but Morsy’s a professional and international, team captain, he should be able to take that.

I would go with that. Both players went in for it, their lad got it and Sam didnt.
