16 September 2018 at 11:38 pm #171821Its funny how we all see the game differently, thought they got out the blocks quicker and could have scored early on but didn’t. The game got scrappy and we coped well. The first half was one that both teams would have been happy going in level. They huffed and puffed without doing much we looked the better team in possession and the sending off finished the game. I saw nothing in Brentford that I didn’t see in Shelf Wed or Notts Forrest. Things didn’t go our way and we got nowt. If anyone wants to bet me that Brentford will finish above us I’ll take it. Powell had a poor game and still looked the best player on display.
Thought Walton was terrific Jr and the fact he got motm says it all really. Sort of see what you mean about Brentford as both their goals were tap in, but as much as I disliked that Maupay (likes to dive) he was in the right place at the right time. We will be close to play offs come May i think and not forgetting we have four players out injured plus Grigg on the bench.
18 September 2018 at 9:03 pm #171851Red card overturned. Rightly IMO as well.
18 September 2018 at 9:11 pm #171852Agreed! No violent conduct and any contact was unintentional and accidental.
Good luck today Sam sure he will start.18 September 2018 at 9:20 pm #171853Just got back home.
Morsy’s challenge was a clear red, he led with his arm. Yes, the Brentford lad had been niggling all game, but Morsy’s a professional and international, team captain, he should be able to take that.

I know what I saw. As did everyone round me.
Straight red every day of the week.
Seems that the Fa didn’t see what “you and everyone around you saw”, including the referee as his report would have been the major factor in the red being rescinded.
18 September 2018 at 9:52 pm #171854Trust me. I’m ever so pleased it has been rescinded.
But … the video clip, which is the only visual evidence shows, from the side, what appears just to be a clash of heads. The referee has also probably now seen that and now has his doubts.
That’s great. On the evidence before them the FA have reached a good decision.
But, I know what I saw ……18 September 2018 at 11:14 pm #171858If you’re referring to an elbow GL, then most headed challenges include an elbow especially if you’re Alan Shearer or Marouanne Fellani. Was clearly a 50/50 ball that both players went in aggressively for. The loser saw red because of the intensity of the challenge. It happens.
19 September 2018 at 2:43 am #171859Good for him to come back with a wonder goal and an half decent performance.
19 September 2018 at 8:32 am #171867Obviously I’m glad he was allowed to play but is it not a double edged sword. I now feel a little cheated that maybe with Sam still on the pitch at Brentford who knows maybe we battle back for a point. Refs have a hell of a job .

I’ll take that bet JR. Bookmark it for the end of the season.
Don’t know you from Adam but let’s go with £20. There are plenty on here that do know me and will confirm I’m a man of my word. This is well and truly bookmarked.
Agreed. If you haven’t already, create a paypal account to either pay me or receive your winnings.
Five wins from five games required – assuming Brentford only manage a draw from their last five games.
