Have to get 3 points tomorrow, or else it’s goodnight Vienna.

Or at least, goodnight Premiership.

That’s MY opinion, anyway. Need to get 3 points off these and also Blackburn, or else forget it.

      Still on for April, me…….

          I do.

Need some 3 points or may as well forget it.

          Arsenal away next week. :(

I agree with Vat – whilst i know that losing or drawing tomorrow wouldn’t kill us off mathematically by any stretch I think it could see us hit the bottom & some of the teams above us pulling away a bit

Psychologically I think it would be a big body blow to lose tomorrow

I’d be disappointed to only draw, but I think I’d take it right now.

Twenty more draws would see us right but would probably also lead to some kind of enquiry.

Theres a difference with home and away matches you know. Lets get behind the lads!!! Its a young squad they could do with some encouragement once every now and then!

Big chance to drag Fulham right into the fight and to get ourselves higher up the table. A good turnout is on the cards according to the club and hopefully we will have 3 points.
Although i do not believe we would be certainties to go down, we would need to pick up some decent away results to have any chance of staying in the league.

No need for an enquiry. 41 points will not be enough anyway.

                  Well said.
Let’s make the D.W a ferocious place to visit !

Do you not think? I’m not so sure.

Then again, what do I know?

Not a chance of us getting 41 points, are you for real?

Ha Ha!!! Get in the real world, man! Be lucky to get 31!

 Can’t believe how blinkered some folk are.

Oh no no no, draw and we are gone defo. I think we are gone anyway, all those stupid results earlier in the season are going to come back and do us. That and the fact the teams around us have signed or are being linked with some hefty names we have a chairman who says if he wants someone he will have to sell. So where does that leave us, Sell Zog, Rodders or (and) Figs and who the hell do you bring in next. Boselli goes out on loan and i presume Genoa are paying his wages so that leaves a huge 1 loan signing. My friends the relegation is foregone. Im plumping for bottom of the league, regardless of our home results from now till the end. I cant wait for the championship. i will be first in the queue for a season ticket. just hope Whelan and Martinez go in the summer. Love what Dave has done but time for someone who isnt obsessed with selling assets every year then complains when people don’t give him their hard earned money to get in and watch a guaranteed boring match from the home side. Taking a bingo gamble for 1 win in 5home games isnt value for money when the players dont try, And Martinez has just lost the plot. He will end up at Sheff Wed or somewhere similar.

Must admit I can’t get to worked up over these so called “hefty” names.

Blackburn- Santa Cruz- is more injury prone than our own Steve Macmillan was. He’s overweight and no match fitness.

Brummy- Robbie keane??? A legend in his own mind and totally over rated. A pish poor Peter Crouch is keeping him out the spurs team.

Kenny Feckin Miller??- not another attempt at making it in the prem league. Not good enough for scottish football never mind the EPL

Wet Spam- Wayne Bridge- can’t defend for peanuts, I remember a certain Gary Teale ripping him to shreds when he was on loan at Fulham a few years back.

Fulham – Steve Sidwell – A poor man’s Ben Watson

The list goes on and on. As Bobby says a fit James McCarthy, Victor Moses and Franco de Santo is as good, if not better than that list of tosh above. ;)

PS. I’ll give you David Bentley if he can reproduce his Blackburn form, however he’s only played 7-8 games in 2 seasons for spurs so don’t hold yer breath.

                      From Matlock to ManU
                      What a journey!

Yosser, I can understand the Martinez comments. I want him to stay, but other don’t. So be it. But, the Whelan comments?

Please answer me this: who would buy Wigan Athletic from Dave Whelan?

Whelan sells players to keep the club self sufficient. It was exactly the same at Blackburn prior to the new owners taking over, is what happened at Middlesbrough, and is the reason why Charlie Adam will leave Blackpool etc. We can’t survive at this level without doing this. We simply do not get enough money coming into the club otherwise to keep it running at this level.

Who in their right mind would buy Wigan Athletic? It’s not exactly a cash cow it is? I’ve asked bickmon this in the past, but I don’t think he understood the question. So, if you can tell me what would happen if Dave Whelan decided enough was enough, and pulled his money, I’d be very interested to know. Is there a Wigan billionaire waiting in the wings that I don’t know about, or does Wigan Athletic have more appeal than Newcastle, Portsmouth, Crystal Palace, Cardiff, and various other clubs pitching for investors?
