Must admit I used to feel that way but the last few times weve had him, he has had a superb game. :o

Must admit, I’m ok with Dowd, was at Highbury that night and was as mad as the next man, but in recent displays I’ve come to respect him. His display at Craven Cottage against Ronaldo and Rooney last season finally convinced me.

Phil Dowd had a great game yesterday and i thought he got more or less everything spot on.
The problem i have with refs lately though is with the diving. When a player goes down and is rolling around like they were shot, then the ref waves play on and tells them to get up. If this wasn’t a foul then surely they took a dive and should be booked.
